Water Jet cutting

Oval Stainless have an in house waterjet cutting machine, which we use to cut all of our sheet parts. Manufactured by Flow in Seattle it draws on aerospace technology to produce a very clean cut with no heat distortion.
The machine will cut almost anything from cardboard to steel and stone; waterjets only use water and sand to cut so they are considered to be a green cutting technology.

The cutting area is 4000 mm X 3200 and the machine can cut up to 100mm thick in stainless steel with very great accuracy and repeatability. Working at about 66,000 PSI, It is fully networked into our computer system so we can quickly produce your parts from drawing files that you email over.

We can use your free issue material or we can supply stainless steel or aluminium from stock. We also have a rumbler for de-burring smaller parts post cutting.
