Simon Wood Power is our Managing Director, he has been here for over ten years, with a long background in the marine industry, he is well known to many boatbuilders.
Our General Manager, Michelle Davies, has been here for over four years and keeps everything running in an effective manner.
David Joynes, our Financial Controller has been with us for over five years, he gets involved with purchasing and tries to keep the books balanced !
James Steventon, our Account Manager, is the guy who will come out to visit you to discuss your project.

History
We have been based in Poole since 1984. Marine tanks have been the mainstay of the company for many years, along with the supply of our Oval and Round Tube.
In 2010 we moved to a new factory of 12,000 sqft all under one roof, rather than the old jumble of industrial units that we used to work in. The move has rationalised our production and created tremendous efficiencies.
With a staff of over 20 including designers, admin, fabricators, welders, polishers and dispatch we are a fairly close knit team who really care about what we make. We generally operate on a one man per item basis so that the same person sees the product through from start to finish to engender a pride in what we do. For example all tanks are individually manufactured, numbered and tested and feature the operators initials on the label.

A new venture for Oval ! Having been increasingly asked to solve the handling of tenders on larger and larger yachts we formed Tender Solutions in early 2011 to concentrate on these problems.
With many years of practical boating experience behind us we can design your bespoke tender recovery solution.
Ranging from the smallest inflatable tender on the back of a 30ft motor boat up to tenders of 30ft and more we can handle them all.
With most solutions produced in mirror polished 316L stainless steel longevity is guaranteed. We use only the finest Brenderup and Stoltze rollers, Harken track, sealed bearings and stainless castors.......more.
