[back] From Dorset to Oman Poole based business - The Tank Company Ltd - have provided tanks for the Royal Oman Police Coastguard’s new patrol boats. The vessels were built by the Portsmouth based company Halmatic. The boats are 10m long and can achieve a speed of over 48 knots. They will be used for patrol and interception duties along Oman's coastline. The Tank Company Ltd – a subsidiary of Oval 316 - manufactures high quality fuel and water tanks for the country's foremost powerboats builders. The Tank Company has recently celebrated its first anniversary since Simon Wood Power - owner and managing director of Oval 316 and The Tank Company - took over.
