Railtex
2004.
Previous
Oval
316
railway
projects
have
included
stainless
steel
vents
for
London
Underground,
carriage
beverage
bar
supports
and
grab
handles,
and
rails
for
various
other
projects.
They
are
midway
through
a
large
contract
to
make
Govia
luggage
stacks
for
Bombardier
Transportation
in
Derby.
Using
Oval
316's
bespoke
profile
tube
and
range
of
castings,
these
stacks
feature
green
textured
aluminum
honeycomb
and
stainless
steel
bonded
shelves
which
enables
them
to
be
light
weight
and
rigid.
Toughened
glass
is
also
installed
on
the
open
side
of
the
stack
and
they
are
finished
in
attractive
blasted
stainless
steel.
The
materials
used
offer
long
service
life
and
great
resistance
to
vandalism.
Oval
316
work
on
a
variety
of
projects
from
design
to
development.
They
have
their
own
in
house
CAD
department,
a
waterjet
cutting
machine
which
cuts
up
to
18cm
thick
in
almost
any
material,
skilled
fabricators
and
coded
welders.
