New Sales Manager

The Tank Company, part of the Oval 316 group of companies, have recently taken on a new Sales Manager, David Green.

With a prominent background in the marine industry for over 25 years, which has included positions at Sunseeker and Fairline, David has been taken on board to head up the new sales team and to expand the Tank Company’s operations in Europe. David plans to recruit a sales team of 4 over the next year, as well as appointing various distributing agents throughout Europe.

The Tank Company started off in 1981, building fuel and water tanks for specialist race and powerboats. Their experience in this tough and hostile application is the foundation for the specification to which all their products are built today. All their tanks have radiused edges and it is this type of construction that gives the tanks the added strength that makes them stand out from other competitors.

The Tank Company have seen huge growth over the last five years – they now produce fuel, oil and water tanks to every type of industry. Their existing customers include the RNLI, Sunseeker International Boats and Sealine International Boats. Last year, they also provided 440 litre fuel tanks for the VT Halmatic Cougar Enforcer 33 fast patrol boats, for the Royal Oman Police Coastguard.
